Notice 032: January 20, 2021 – Advanced Protection Plan (APP) GAP Program Change –Effective 1/1/2021

You are receiving this notice because your dealership is authorized to sell the Advanced Protection Plan (“APP”) GAP program. The program has undergone an Underwriter change effective January 1, 2021 with Old Republic Insurance Company replacing Ohio Indemnity as the Underwriter.
The product coverage, language and contract form layout will remain consistent with the previous version with the only change being the Underwriter. Additionally, the pricing is unaffected so there is no change in the rates.
As part of our review process during this change, we have identified your dealership as being inactive, meaning you haven’t produced on the APP GAP program in over one year. Due to the inactivity, we have deactivated your APP GAP sale authority effective 1-1-2021.
