Everyone is buzzing about GAP, but who is talking about Diminished Value? This is the key question that is answered in Croak’s article. Since the introduction of the VIN history report, it has been a burden to dealerships and their customers. But this isn’t the case if a diminished value protection program is offered. On average, a vehicle that has been in an accident can lose up to 30% of its trade-in or sale value due to the diminished value.
